Bedtime Stories (read aloud some with illustrations)

I hope you enjoy these stories. To get a sample of what they are like click the "Play video" links, these are streamed versions and should start playing in a minute or so. Normally it is better to be patient and click the "Download Video" links, then you will have the story on your computer to play again and again or share with friends! If you would like a higher quality version on disk please email Tim (tim@carey.ac.nz). Please also email me if you have trouble with the Windows Media Player files and try the Real Player ones - making these available as well is an experiment, so I need feedback whether people can see them or not!

Latest addition to Beatrix Potter videos The Tailor of Gloucester.

Beatrix Potter

I am gradually recording and animating the delightful Beatrix Potter stories using her own pictures the ones I have finished are here: Beatrix Potter stories.

Beatrix Potter's delightful stories of animals with personality and their adventures have been loved by adults and children since she first publised them early last century. Their charm and interest is enhanced by her illustrations. So in these readings I have tried to weave her pictures and words together as I read.

I hope you enjoy them as I have since my mother first read them to me!
