Beersheba: governor's residence, storerooms

This shot shows the first of the long storerooms. There is no indication of what was kept here, but since there were also three large storehouses to the other side of the plaza presumably the function of the two areas was different. One speculation is that these rooms were for weapons and military equipment (keeping it under the governor's control).
